A number of different shape and sizes of structure can be classified as a Gazebo. This range can be seen in the various commissions shown.
Made in either Western Red Cedar, Iroko or Oak they have ranged in size from a simple small 2 meter square gazebo with a trellis roof, through to a 5 meter diameter octagonal oak gazebo with trellis columns and a pre-patinated zinc roof, which has a similar colour to lead, but requires a lighter roof structure and is less likely to be stolen.
Other styles include a hexagonal oak gazebo with trellis columns with a trellis roof, and another hexagonal gazebo with a copper roof.
Several have been finished in a traditional cedar shingle roof with either cedar or lead hips.
Another was made in green oak so that as the oak dried and changed shape it would take on an aged appearance within a short time which is exactly what it did as you can see from the picture.
In addition to the roof finishes mentioned above cedar shingles have been used on several gazebos.
If you can imagine a shape and size of gazebo then we can design and make it.
